► Union Meetings

Union Meetings are similar to Student Assembly meetings as they can create and oversee the guiding policies of the Union, hold the 4 Student Officers to account, and contribute to the campaigns and development of the Union. There are a minimum of 2 Union Meetings per year and they take place instead of the Student Assembly meeting on the last Thursday of that month.

The key difference from Student Assembly is that any student attending a Union Meeting can ask the Student Officers questions about the decisions they have made, vote on policy, and discuss decisions facing the Union. Importantly, because they are open to all students Union Meetings can overrule decisions made the Student Officers or Student Assembly. So, if you want to get involved in making the decisions of the Union please come along to one of the Union Meetings.

Remember, if you can't make it to the meetings you can read what happened by downloading the minutes, which will be available 1 week after they have happened.
