The Academy, the Students’ Union nightclub has a superb atmosphere, fantastic music and all your friends within the safety and intimacy of your students union. It is open 5 nights a week Monday to Friday, opening times may vary but as a rule it‘s 10pm – 2am. At UBS we understand that everyone’s music and entertainment needs are different, so the entertainment team work very hard on supplying a diverse programme of events for you to enjoy.

To find out what’s on keep your eyes peeled for entertainment listings on halls notice boards, on here, or join our Facebook group “UBS Entertainments. Tickets go on sale in Loco's 6 days prior to the events so make sure you get down there early to avoid disappointment.

If you can’t get down to Loco's there are usually tickets available online here.

We appreciate that sometimes you just don’t know where you are going from one day to the next, so we will always try to have some tickets available on the door the night of the event for those last minute decisions.
