BUSA Fleet Nationals

The BUSA fleet nationals are usually held in Weymouth at the start of November and consist of massive fleets of Laser 2s and FireFlies as well as a big handicap fleet. The standard of racing is competitive but great fun with great socials. Club members are welcome to enter their own boats or use the club ones. Brunel has done well in this event over the last few years, especially in the Laser 2 class with multiple top 10 places over the last few years and the title in 2008 and 09.

Team Racing

Both BUSA and other universites hold team racing events thoughout the year and these are competitive and great fun. Brunel is catching up in this racing mode and has managed to qualify for the play-offs for the BUSA team racing finals for the first time in 08/09.

BUSA Match Racing

BUSA holds a match racing series for universities in J80 yachts held at Queen Mary SC. Very competitive but great fun and a good chance to try this very exciting variety of boat racing.
