delia stoican
Ciao! My name is Delia Stoican. I am a third-year Law student. I am currently running as European Officer in the Autumn Elections. I believe I can combine the political and legal knowledge of a Law student, which provides consistency and confidence, to the feeling of missing home and the comfort of a friend. Having lived in not one, but three different countries in Europe, two of which currently part of the European Union, I am aware of the support we can reach for and of the amazing experiences we can create together.
Some of the goals I would like to share with you are:
- Close contact with your home Embassy. Fun and work should not be separated. Let’s introduce cultural events in collaboration with them in Brunel, giving students the opportunity to learn while dancing and trying new recipes! It’s a must to take advantage of living in London.
- After Brexit, different solutions for support for those who would like to start or stay in Brunel were created . Many students are not aware of the opportunities, as well as the help they could get during the increase of cost of living. The information is there, you just need some help in finding out.
- Activities where European students can bond and network. Those can be held on campus, as well as in different locations in the surrounding area.
- Events which open the chance to discuss European law and politics. In collaboration with speakers, up-to-date topics are going to be discussed to raise awareness of how those affect us and what can we do to influence them.
As written in my Cover letter which led to my Placement year at Bentley Motors Limited, I never put my name on something where I have not inserted my heart as well.
Join me in an extraordinary journey through Europe where all senses are involved!
